Junkyard is a bar and restaurant that ticks all the cool boxes in Nottingham. With its modern feel, long bar, distressed wooden tables, neon signs, craft beers and grazing menu, it felt like the place to be on a Saturday night in the city. Junkyard Restaurant, Nottingham. After devouring two big meals over the past 24 hours, it was a welcome relief to be able to order a few small dishes to share.
Despite all signals pointing to this being a cash in on as much trendy nonsense as possible, you can definitely consider me pleasantly surprised. It turns out I can forgive a total lack of originality (after all, "there's nothing new under the sun") for well cooked, fairly priced and quickly served food in a bar where I can get a good beer and I had a genuinely enjoyable if not life-changing lunch in Junkyard and whilst not worth a special trip, I would definitely go back
Popped in on accident, on the way to a different event. The place was packed, so clearly popular.
Selection of food is limited but enough for everyone to find something they could eat. Mainly burgers, fish fingers sandwiched and that kind of pub food.
Service was friendly. More sitting area upstairs of the place looks busy at first glance.
